Penny Holmes has been in the veterinary field for over thirty years and became a licensed Veterinary Technician (RVT) in 1982. As an RVT, Penny is able to anesthetize patients, suture wounds, perform dental extractions and other veterinary procedures much like a human physician assistant. Over her career Penny has assisted with thousands of surgical procedures ranging from growth removals to advanced orthopedic surgeries. Penny has been at The Village Veterinary for some time and is a valuable asset to our team. Caring for animals is not only Penny’s profession, but her hobby also. She and her husband are volunteer puppy raiser for Guide Dogs for the Blind. And they have raised two dogs that have graduated and are working on a third.  The third dog, “Quartz” is at our office every day when Penny works. Finally, she enjoys spending time with her husband and two grown children in what is left of her spare time.

Jessica Palmissano

Jessica has been involved with pets her entire life working as an associate and personal dog trasiner at Pet Co. She has worked extensively with various pet rescues and sometimes does house sitting. She enjoys time with her son Josh and family activities on her time off.
